SAINT LYPHARD: Situated on the western border of the "Briere" marshlands, between the "Cote d'Amour" and the banks of the river Vilaine . A colourful flower decked holiday town, Saint Lyphard boasts no less than 700 thatched cottages sprinkled among its numerous villages. Kerhinet is probably the most well known. Restored to depict a typical "briere" village, its also includes the "Cottage of Local Flavors". Every thursday is market day with a wide range of local produce and goods.

GUERANDE: Guerande is situated at the heart of The "White Country" named thus because of the importance of the neighbouring salt producing marshes. The original Roman city of Grannona was evangelised by Saint Clair during the 3rd century. At the centre of the walled town stands "La Collegiale" the 9th century church rebuilt by Saint Aubin during the 12th century.
